As a child growing up in Midland at Lee Street, I would get excited about the Lectureship. Even if it was outdoors because the building was too small at the time, I still got excited. It felt like a family reunion...people would come from all over the United States. When Arizona began having a Lectureship, I would get excited for it as well. I would always find the time to participate. I hope that the Lectureships both in Midland and in Arizona continue to grow and fulfill their purpose. I will continue to support the Arizona Lectureship, and continue to be excited as new ministers replace the old and bring their excitement with them. One thing I do miss is the group singing that we had in Midland, but don't have here. Needless to say, I am looking forward to the Lectureships.
